Rutgers/Newark Beth Israel is a Rutgers New Jersey Medical School-affiliated, community-based academic pediatric program anchored in Newark's Children's Hospital of NJ, serving a predominantly underserved, high-acuity urban population through a Level IV NICU, PICU, dedicated pediatric ED, and the Valerie Fund Center - the state's largest pediatric sickle cell program.
