HCA HealthONE Aurora is a community hospital-based psychiatry residency housed within a 120-bed acute care facility, offering broad exposure across the lifespan (child/adolescent, adult, geriatric) and across care settings including inpatient, consult-liaison, forensics, addiction, IOP/PHP, and a substantial 12-block community psychiatry rotation in PGY3. As one of only two psychiatry programs in Colorado, it emphasizes a collegial, wellness-oriented, supportive learning culture (HCA's "Pathways to Flourishing" framework) rather than a competitive academic identity, with scholarly activity encouraged and institutionally supported through HCA's national research infrastructure but not positioned as the program's defining feature.
