This is a large, research-intensive academic neurology program at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish/St. Louis Children's, structured as a four-year categorical track that integrates the internal medicine intern year under departmental supervision. The program's identity is built around subspecialty depth and physician-scientist development, evidenced by 170+ faculty across every neurology subspecialty, a dedicated NINDS-supported UE5 Research Fellowship Program with protected time, and flagship centers (Knight ADRC, DIAN, John L. Trotter MS Center) running an unusually large portfolio of investigator-initiated and industry trials.
