UTMB Neurology is a university-affiliated, academic program anchored on the Galveston campus, drawing complex tertiary cases through Jennie Sealy Hospital's dedicated neuro-ICU and epilepsy monitoring unit, with additional rotations at MD Anderson Cancer Center for neuro-oncology exposure, Texas Children's Hospital for pediatric neurology, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice hospital, which offers a distinct incarcerated patient population with rare, advanced disease presentations.
