This is a community-based, university-affiliated (University of Houston Clear Lake) general surgery program set at a 532-bed Level II trauma center south of the Texas Medical Center, giving residents a broad clinical base spanning trauma, acute care surgery, colorectal, surgical oncology, and outpatient continuity clinic experience across multiple named affiliated sites (Bay Area Surgicare Center, Extant Healthcare trauma follow-up clinic, Texas Oncology Webster, Surgical Specialists of Clear Lake).
