TriHealth's OB/GYN residency is a community-based, high-volume clinical training program built around two flagship tertiary hospitals in Cincinnati, Good Samaritan and Bethesda North, with Good Samaritan alone delivering nearly 7,000 babies annually and ranking among the top 50 U.S. gynecology services. Residents train across a full complexity spectrum, from a Level 3 tertiary perinatal center with an active maternal transport system and antepartum high-risk unit to community-based continuity clinics at Bethesda, giving heavy exposure to high-risk obstetrics, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, and general gynecologic surgery. The presence of a three-year Urogynecology Fellowship at Good Samaritan signals institutional depth in subspecialty pelvic floor disorders and creates an internal fellowship pathway for interested residents. The program's identity centers on volume-driven clinical training and continuity of care within a private, non-university teaching hospital system rather than an explicit research or academic mission.
