Henry Ford Macomb is a community-based, osteopathically-rooted OB/GYN program explicitly structured to train the well-rounded generalist rather than the subspecialist, with the program director describing its mission as producing graduates who "perform to the utmost of their capability on all levels" and noting most residents pursue generalist practice.
