This is a community-based, academically affiliated four-year OBGYN residency at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, partnered with the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU, situated within Andrews Women's Hospital, a dedicated women's hospital with over 6,000 annual deliveries and a Level IV maternal care designation, the highest tier for complex obstetric cases. The training emphasizes high-volume, high-acuity clinical exposure across all OBGYN subspecialties (MFM, GynOnc, REI, UroGyn, Family Planning) with robust minimally invasive and robotic surgical experience (da Vinci Si and Xi platforms) rather than a research-driven identity. A distinctive PGY-4 "preparation for practice/leadership" rotation and business-of-medicine curriculum signal an orientation toward producing practice-ready generalist and subspecialty-track clinicians rather than academic physician-scientists. Research is limited to a required quality improvement project and scholarly activity supported by faculty mentorship, indicating research is expected but not central to the program's mission.
