Program Identity & Fit

This is a large, physician-scientist-oriented Advanced neurology program spanning two flagship Harvard teaching hospitals (MGH and BWH), with additional exposure at Boston Children's Hospital and the Boston VA, drawing on 275 affiliated Partners Neurology faculty. Research is deeply embedded in program identity: the UE5 pathway offers up to two years of funded research, a formal Research Certificate Program provides structured mentoring from wet-lab to clinical/dataset work, and a high proportion of resident narratives describe MD/PhD training and ongoing lab-based work in neuroscience, neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology, and neuroimaging.
