Roger Williams Medical Center is a Boston University-affiliated community academic medical center in Providence, RI, a 220-bed hospital delivering primary and tertiary care with dedicated units in addiction medicine, geriatrics, oncology, and bone marrow transplant that expose residents to a complex, high-acuity population. The three-year, 4+1 curriculum emphasizes early graduated autonomy, with residents functioning as team leaders managing complex patients across ICU, step-down, CCU (via a Brown-affiliated Miriam Hospital rotation), and a longitudinal continuity clinic.
