KPC Hemet Global Medical Center's Internal Medicine Residency is a community-based, non-university program serving as the sole hospital for the rural, medically underserved Hemet-San Jacinto Valley, a 160,000-person catchment area handled through a 300-bed facility with a high-volume emergency department.
