This is a new, Mount Sinai-affiliated internal medicine program based at a large community hospital on Long Island's South Shore, combining a 455-bed, tertiary-capable facility (Level II trauma, Gamma Knife, robotic surgery, transplant liaison services) with a self-described "cozy," family-like community culture.
