Montefiore Einstein Anesthesiology is a large, university-affiliated academic department in the Bronx built around its Digital Health Laboratory, a physician-scientist-led infrastructure that mines a database of over one million surgical patients to drive perioperative outcomes, population health and quality-improvement research.
