A community-based residency in Temecula and Murrieta with a 6-6-6 complement, which welcomed its first class in July 2019. Residents rotate through Temecula Valley Hospital, Rancho Springs Hospital and Inland Valley Hospital, with continuity care at Neighborhood Temecula Parkway, a federally qualified health center within walking distance of the main hospital. The program serves an area it describes as short of primary care physicians, and distinguishes itself through primary palliative care principles, home visits to high-risk patients, community group visits and telehealth. Curriculum is individualized toward fellowship, inpatient or full-spectrum outpatient practice, and the program reports a 100% ABFM board certification pass rate.
