This is a community-based, HCA Healthcare-affiliated Family Medicine program built around broad-scope generalist training, with inpatient work at Sky Ridge Medical Center and outpatient continuity at Cornerstone Family Practice, a clinic serving an underserved segment of the Denver-Aurora population. The program's defining feature is its menu of six elective tracks (Sports Medicine, Maternity Care, Wilderness Medicine, Osteopathic Manual Medicine, Global Medicine, Hospitalist) supported by heavy elective time (up to six months in PGY-3), allowing residents to shape a differentiated scope of practice within full-spectrum family medicine, including obstetrics, newborn care, and a required rural rotation.
