This is a small, integrated four-year dermatology program within the Kaiser Permanente Southern California managed-care system, notable for requiring residents to complete an onsite preliminary internal medicine year at LAMC before advancing to dermatology, ensuring early familiarity with the KP EMR and healthcare system.
