Frequently asked

Questions candidates ask us first.

What are the benefits of using a customized residency program list?

A generic list tells you which programs have taken IMGs before. Ours tells you which programs are likely to consider you, based on your scores, visa need, graduation year and school precedent. That difference is what turns a list of hundreds into a shortlist you can act on.

What information is included in my program list?

Each program carries its structural requirements, IMG presence, visa positions, program category, location, and the fellowships and tracks it offers, along with verified precedent for candidates from your school and classification.

How does a targeted list save me money?

ERAS fees scale with the number of programs you apply to. Applying to fifty programs where you do not clear the first filter costs money and returns nothing. A shorter, better aimed list puts the same budget behind programs that can realistically invite you.

Am I better off researching each program myself?

You can, and some candidates do. It takes weeks, the data on program websites is often out of date, and it will not tell you where candidates from your school have actually matched. That precedent is the part you cannot assemble on your own.

Are lists available in every specialty?

Lists are available across all 29 specialties in our database, including preliminary and transitional year positions.
